Danielle talks with Tracey Petervary about her upcoming race at the Arrowhead 135. By the time you hear this, she'll be mid race in temperatures reaching -25 F.
Tracey has extensive experience in endurance cycling, as well as cold weather cycling. She has participated in the Iditarod Trail Invitational, even going as far as the 1000-mile route to Nome.

Pat Sorensen, the President of Penn Cycle of Minnesota, joins Ben to discuss what Penn has going on, the current state of fatbikes and gravel, and more.
The plan for the show was to discuss fatbiking and the two "Get Phat with Pat" races at the Minnesota River Bottoms outside of Minneapolis. It turned into more because Pat is a wealth of cycling history knowledge and has a clear passion for all types of cycling.
They discussed fatbikes, gravel racing, and the history of the store.
It's a really interesting story about how Penn Cycle started. Enjoy!

Eszter went from a fairly timid youngster and was a swimmer until picking up mountain biking at the University of Colorado.
Since getting started on the bike in college, her adventures have been big. She's won 24 Hour nationals, set the record at the Arrowhead 135, and holds the women's record on the Tour Divide. She shattered the women's record at the Iditarod Trail Invitational this February and tells listeners about her thoughts about a trek to Nome in 2014.

Chainring setup and selection has become a HOT topic in the world of mountain biking. By piloting a tandem for the U.S. National Paralympic Team, she won gold, silver, and bronze medals at the 2008 Summer Paralympics in Beijing, China.
