Where else can you hear about what pump and compressor is best for seating a tubeless tire?

Have you ever wondered about swapping out a tapered and 1 1/8" without a lot of messing around?

This show is a constant stream of useful information and if you don't listen, you're probably going to crash and burn because you've tried to rig up a "ghetto" road tubeless setup. Please don't crash and burn....just listen.

Listen in to another great episode of Girls and Gears with Danielle Musto, she is joined by Mackenzie Woodring.

They caught up on the season and talked about the upcoming Iceman Cometh race in Michigan. Mackenzie is a definite favorite going into the 2013 Iceman. In 2012, she finished an extremely strong 4th place, only two seconds off of first, behind Georgia Gould, Emily Batty, and Heather Irmiger.

By piloting a tandem for the U.S. National Paralympic Team, she won gold, silver, and bronze medals at the 2008 Summer Paralympics in Beijing, China.

How many doll arms is a frameset? Why are bikes so pricey? Are you really getting what you paid for? Can you build up a bike for cheaper? What is a good price point?

You also get a good discussion about chainrings, Bikerumor, and more. Endless, Wolf Tooth, AbsoluteBlack, or RaceFace? Do you ride one or the other and why?

Plus more Bikerumor troll ripping and you get a history of how the crew started working on bikes.

What are the four main points of recovery through nutrition? Kelli outlines the points and gives you some extra tips. What protein when? Coconut oil? What about glycogen stores, electrolytes, antioxidants, glutamine, and more?

Kelli usually charges for this type of coaching and she's sharing it for free! Give it a listen and share with all your riding friends (unless you don't want them to ride past you!)

A special thanks to ID Angel for supporting this episode.

Bob McCarty joined Drew to discuss his extensive experience in mountain biking, racing at the pro level with his new team, training, and his mountain bike skills training business down in Florida.

Who is Bob McCarty?

If you were down in Florida, you wouldn't be asking this question. Bob is a well-respected and looked up to racer in the Southeast. He is someone Drew has looked up to as an up-and-coming mountain biker back in 2005. Bob has been racing mountain bikes at a high level since the 1990's, including an 18th overall in the 2013 ProXCT series. He also runs a well-established Mountain Bike Skills Training business in the Miami area called McCarty Training.
