ABOUT THE EPISODE:

The guys bring another Hall of Famer on the show. In this episode they hang out with BMX legend, Perry Kramer. They discuss a lot of topics, including the history of BMX, PK Rippers, and more. Plus they spend some time letting Perry tell stories about the good ol' days of BMX racing and the early years of mountain biking. Even if you're not into BMX, this is still a great listen - informative, interesting, and teaches you about the history of BMX. It's a good peak into the early days of where mountain biking came from too.

The Path guys welcome all of your questions and encourage you to send them an email with the subject "Podcast Question" to sales@thepathbikeshop.com.

About Mike Bell:

From the AMA Motorcycle Hall of Fame -

"Mike "Too Tall" Bell was one of America’s leading motocross and Supercross racers of the late 1970s and early '80s. He rode for Yamaha during his entire pro career. His biggest claim to fame was winning the 1980 AMA Supercross Championship, but Bell proved very versatile throughout his seven-year professional career, winning a total of 20 AMA and Trans-AMA nationals.

Bell was born in Los Angeles on August 8, 1957. His father, Bill, was an avid racer and well-known tuner who did development work for American Honda on its four-stroke desert racing machines during the late 1960s. Mike began riding at age 10 up in the mountains outside Los Angeles where his family had a cabin, but unlike many of his contemporaries who started much younger, Bell did not start racing until he was 14. Once he got on the track however, with a new Maico, it didn’t take long for Bell to go right to the top of the highly competitive Southern California motocross scene...." Read more here

ABOUT THE EPISODE:

When the cat's away, the mice will play... Tani is out this episode, but Nathan and Auk bring you another great episode of The Path Podcast. They start off the episode with a discussion about Sedona, Arizona and go into more thoughts about riding trips. They share some tips, thoughts, and stories about riding with others.

This leads to some thoughts on making decisions on buying bikes.

PLUS

-  Nathan's Trans Provence plans. Nathan raced the 2015 version of the Trans Provence and is planning to go back in 2016. He shares some information about his 2015 experience and what he plans to do for 2016.

ABOUT THIS EPISODE:

Auk is in charge, so heads up. The guys set the show up with a real agenda. Tani leads off with a correction and then Nathan gets geeky on reach and fit calculations for his new Santa Cruz Highball. Not surprisingly, they get off track and into a full dropper post discussion.

GoPro. Do you use one or not? Nathan, Tani, and Auk tackle the issue with GoPro's and video in general that we all struggle with - producing the video afterward. With the convenience, accessibility, and quality of phone and small cameras, do GoPro and competitors still have a spot?

PLUS

-  Bike Park Rider Etiquette. Nathan's friend sent him some rules for the bike park.

-  MAN DOWN!! Tani shares a funny story.
