The Point to Point course is a true point 2 point. Thanks to the plethora of trails, you will never be on the same trail twice. You will be riding singletrack for over 90% of the race (that’s a lot of 1-track) and the total distance is 75 miles with around 12,000′+- of climbing, all while traveling through two of the country’s premier mountain resorts. ABOUT THIS EPISODE

Continuing with our theme of climate change, we hear from the founder of Minneapolis Bike Parks: Devin Olson and Program Director: Kim Holm. They’re a fantastic example of a successful grassroots organization. They focus on building Bicycle Playgrounds that increase the Bicycle competency in kids, so that future generations are capable and comfortable with using a bike to get around.

About Brent:

Brent is a Trail Builder with the North Shore Mountain Bike Association and focuses on the Upper and Lower Griffen Trails on Mount Fromme. Through his work with Trailforks he’s come to discover the world of advocacy beyond just his home in North Vancouver, and serving as the inspiration to create Front Lines MTB.

ABOUT THIS EPISODE

Jay Darby of IMBA Canada, returns to continue our discussion on Climate Change and what role Mountain Bike Trail Associations can play in addressing it. In addition to Jay, we’re joined by past guest and Executive Director of the Aboriginal Youth Mountain Bike Program, Patrick Lucas. Both Jay and Patrick share their experience of working in remote British Columbia communities and how Climate Change is directly effecting them and how Mountain Biking is empowering these same communities to address it.

The Path Podcast Show Page

ABOUT THIS EPISODE

The guys share some news and Tani goes down a “giant” tunnel on a Giant Reign build. This episode gets extra bike geeky down the setup of a bike. It’s a good chance to basically pick Tani’s brain to gain some insight into his thought processes with the build. Plus they discuss “Overbiking.”

The Path guys welcome all of your questions and encourage you to send them an email with the subject “Podcast Question” to podcast@thepathbikeshop.com.

A total lack of entertainment coming your way. Or not. A shorter episode compared to others but they chat about forks they want, answer some questions, and more. Matt rides an ebike for a commuter. Andrea’s getting her swoll on.
