MUSIC NEWS

 

Defeater‘s fourth studio album “Abandoned” will meet an August 28th release date through Epitaph.  A video for the first single “Spared In Hell” has also been released via epitaph.

 

They will also hit the road for a full US run starting Sept 1 -­ Oct 11. Shai Hulud has extended their summer touring plans to include the Western United States and portions of Canada. Dates, which also feature Lions Lions.  Tour runs from Aug 17 -­ Sept 6.

 

Founder and frontman of Boysetsfire Nathan Gray is set to release a solo  EP, dropping August 21 via Good Fight Music.

 

Zao will unveil their first new music since 2009, with the release of a new two­song 7­inch available (in digital format) on July 10.

 

Trap Them and Full Of Hell will team up for three shows in August.

Baroness has lined up a handful of August shows in Europe  8/20 - ­8/30.

 

The Sword will release their new album, High Country, through Razor & Tie on August 21st Northwestern U.S. post­metal band Sumac, featuring Aaron Turner (Isis, Old Man Gloom), will be touring a portion of North America in August.  East Coast and Canada dates.

 

The lineup for Fun Fun Fun Fest 2015, the tenth anniversary of the festival. This year's installment will take place November 6, 7 and 8 at Auditorium Shores in Austin Texas and its

roster, which includes Venom, Skinny Puppy, Chain Of Strength, Converge, Dag Nasty,

Neurosis will launch a North American Tour July 31 running through August 16

Every Time I Die will headline the Common Vision Tour 2015 this summer, with support to be provided by Real Friends, Counterparts, Gnarwolves, Brigades, and Gatherers.

DEADGUY ­ Fixation On A Co­Worker

Deadguy was a metalcore band from New Brunswick, New Jersey, USA.

Formed in 1994, Deadguy took inspiration from bands like Unsane and Today is the Day. The band took their name from a line in the John Candy movie, Only the Lonely,.[1] Although not as widely known as some of their peers, Deadguy has proven to be very influential on modern hardcore and metal as evidenced by their only proper studio album, Fixation on a Co­Worker being inducted into the Decibel magazine Hall of Fame in July 2006.

 

CIV -­ Set Your Goals

Released 1995 ­ LAVA Records/Revelation Records

 

CIV was a hardcore punk band from New York City. The band is named after its vocalist, Anthony Civarelli. Three of the band's members (Civarelli, Siegler and Smilios) were members of Gorilla Biscuits. Band member Siegler played in other hardcore bands, including Youth of Today, Judge and Gorilla Biscuits.
